Member Draw Changes

Our member draw is changing!

Our member draw has been in operation for over 30 years. During that time, the first prize traditionally was a car, with the make and model dependent on the funds available in the car draw at the time.

This not-for-profit draw is run on a ‘break-even’ basis and all participating member contributions are used to pay for prizes.

The cost of entry to the draw remains a relatively low one at €1.27 per fortnight, a cost we are reluctant to increase. However, unfortunately, the cost of cars continues to rise, creating an imbalance in the draw.

To continue running the draw without raising the cost to members, and because many winning members opt for a cash alternative to the car prize, we are changing the draw to a cash prize draw from May 2024.

These changes will result in even more monthly winners with 6 members winning prizes in each draw, rather than 5!

The new monthly prizes are as follows:

• €15,000 x 1
• €5,000 x 1
• €1,000 x 4

If you are already a member of the draw, you do not need to do anything – the draw will continue working as it always has – just with new prizes.
